Hi, I'm Michael and this is my blog. I am a freshman at California Baptist University, and am undecided on my major. Something I am extremely passionate about is the Oakland* Raiders, being that I am from the Oakland area, and have been a fan since the earliest I can remember. I've supremely enjoyed watching them year in and year out, even though most of the duration of my life the Raiders have sucked. However, they are slowly turning the culture around, and us faithful Oakland fans are getting what we deserve, a shot at the playoffs, and hopefully the Super Bowl.
The Oakland Raiders have an extremely rich history, and many current players say it is an honor to be able to don the Silver and Black uniforms so many great players before them wore. When I was younger, my goal in life was to play Professional football, specifically for the Raiders, but that was derailed by my many serious injuries that led to me losing passion for the sport. Consequently, not playing football led me to look at colleges that did not have the sport, which landed me here at Cal Baptist, and honestly I could not be happier. God used my career ending injuries for good, sending me to a place where I can thrive and glorify Him with everything I do.
